Strengths

Both SMMC and OCMMC have specific software and access to 3D reconstruction for complete evaluation. Study usually requires special radiologist attention for protocol. Please consult radiologist.

Limitations

Specialized and time intensive, but excellent. For general cardiac evaluation, consider other modalities and tests.

Contraindications

1) Standard MR questionaire as to contraindicated implanted devices, surgery, etc.; 2) Gadolinium will be dose-adjusted dependent upon creatinine clearance. It will not be given with CrCl <30 due to risk of NSF.
