CT multiphase adrenal gland

Strengths

Evaluate incidental adrenal lesion. Characterize for benign or malignant features. Will need IV contrast.

Limitations

For followup of likely benign nodule, may only need "standard" CT abdomen with or without contrast

Contraindications

1) Allergy to contrast, but we will premedicate patient as necessary; 2) IV contrast will be dose-adjusted dependent upon creatinine clearance.
